The annual percentage rate (APR) for share secured advances will be the dividend rate being paid on regular shares offered as security plus a margin of 2%. If there is an existing balance on the date of the new advance the existing balance will be added to the new advance and the entire balance will be at the new APR. Any increases in the APR will result in more payments of the same amount until what you owe has been repaid.

On certificate secured advances the certificate must be renewed until the advance is completely paid. Failure to renew will result in default under the plan. When the certificate is renewed the APR will change to reflect the new dividend rate plus a margin of 2%. Any increases in the APR will result in more payments of the same amount until what you owe has been repaid. The present annual percentage rate will be disclosed on the voucher at the time of the advance.

The annual percentage rate (APR) for line of credit, personal, and other secured loans is based on the member's credit score and other services provided by Nashville Credit Union. You will receive a discount of 0.25% on your APR if you make payments automatically through transfer or payment deductions. An additional discount of 1.00% is available for those members who have an existing or choose to open a new share draft account with Nashville Credit Union. If you discontinue the services which made you eligible for the discounts, your APR may be increased to the non-discounted rate.

If you no longer meet the qualifications your interest rate will increase by the applicable percentage.

COLLECTION COSTS: The following collection cost language applies in all states except as noted. You agree to pay all costs of collecting the amount you owe under this Agreement, including court costs and reasonable attorney fees.

LATE CHARGES: If your payment is more than 10 days late, you will be required to pay a late charge of 20% of the interest due.

SKIP PAYMENT: We offer a "Skip your Payment" program in June and December. If you qualify, you will be able to skip your payment for the applicable month and use those funds as you wish. Interest will continue to accrue on your principal balance. Your regular payment will resume in the following month. This program is offered for all loans; however, in order to qualify your loan and share accounts must be in good standing with us.

Home Equity Loans
A great way to get your hands on some much needed cash!

If you are a homeowner, chances are your greatest asset is the equity in your own home. Simply defined, equity is the difference between what your home is worth and how much you still owe on your mortgage.

Low interest rates make this a good time to borrow against the equity you have established. Consolidate your debts, pay for tuition, make home improvements or pay cash for whatever worthwhile expense you can imagine. You'll have one monthly payment at a low rate of interest. The interest you pay may be deductible on your federal tax return.*

Call or stop in today to ask if a Home Equity Loan would be right for you. If you qualify, we'll guide you through the application process and you'll have cash in hand in no time!

*Consult your tax advisor.
